Spencer Oliver was the European (EBU) super bantamweight champion in 1997. A title he held for a year, defending it on three occasions.
Now a pundit on Sky Sports News & Boxing, alongside talkSPORT and his podcast Pound 4 Pound, Spencer approached Johnny to create a home boxing workout together. Recognising the need for good, quality, home workouts, that were not only easy to follow, but provided a challenge for all levels of fitness. He wanted to create a community that would enable people to get active at their own pace & in their own time.
Spencer also delivers his own private training sessions in his spare time, bringing a wealth of experience and feedback from his own clients.
Johnny Nelson is currently the longest reigning world cruiserweight champion of all time, having held the WBO title from 1999 to 2005. He defended the title against 13 different fighters, more than any other cruiserweight in history.
Now a pundit on Sky Sports Boxing, he is passionate about fitness and mental wellbeing. Johnny’s vision for training (and life generally) is Find A Way. At 54, two hip replacements later & knee injuries, he’s worked hard to stay in shape and is keen to pass on advice and motivation to those who have perhaps lost confidence or are returning to fitness – and especially those who are frustrated with their bodies!
For Johnny, working out not only influences how he looks, but very much how he feels. Still training five days a week, he credits fitness with not only how his body moves and feels, but the strength of his mind too.
